the calm before the storm

Several weeks ago we had a pretty strong storm come through the McAllen area. Little did we know that mother nature would help us with some pretty awesome imagery for Anita's bridal shoot. Here are a few of my favorites!

Nicole's Bridal Shoot

Back in April, Omar shot the beautiful bride-to-be, Nicole. We've waited until now to post her bridals because we didn't want groom-to-be, Abel, to catch a glimpse of his beautful bride in her wedding dress until the big day.

So here are a few of my absolute favorites! It was so hard to choose, so I'm giving you a small preview of the vast variety in her collection. We'll have some images to share with you this coming week of their gorgeous wedding held last weekend at The Cimarron.

I had an amazing session with, 12 day old, Isabella last week. She slept the entire session and didn't even flinch a bit as we moved from pose to pose. We breezed through it all in about one and a half hours! Here are some of my favorites!

Super glam engagement session...

Omar shot the engagement session of one of our most fun and glamorous couples to date! He did quite well with the challenge they presented him with..to disguise the cast one of them wore to mend a broken elbow that happened a few days before the shoot! Can you tell who? Look close!

classic & beautiful

Omar and I documented the classic and beautiful wedding of Celeste and Roy two weeks ago. Their beautiful love was united in a very intimate ceremony at Quinta Mazatlan. We had a great time capturing their day as the events unfolded. We promised to have a preview for them when they returned from their honeymoon and here it is! I hope you enjoy it!

Butterfly Wedding

Three weeks ago, we documented the beautiful wedding of Rick and Erica. They are one of the sweetest couples with a family just as sweet. Erica loves butterflies and it was a major component in their wedding. Held at the "Butterfly Room" in the McAllen Convention Center, the reception was amazing to photograph with lots of lush color and vivid details. It was a photographer's dream! Maternity with a Western Flare
