I had such a good time with this family during the newborn shoot of their newest addition. Everyone was so eager to capture little Aaron at only 14 days old. And both mom and big sis were great sports about the small accidents we had! Let's just say they'll have fun stories to tell about the day little Aaron had his first photoshoot. And I can't forget to mention how wonderful Aaron did during all of the shuffling of hands -- he was a sweetheart. Here are some of my favorites...

My beautiful sister

I will soon become a new aunt all over again to my sister's baby girl, Emily Grace. Isn't that name just beautiful? I am so excited and can't wait to meet her. I am very grateful that I am able to share and take part in such an important moment in my sister's life. Not that I would have missed Emily's birth for anything in the world if I was still in Dallas, but being here with her is just different -- a wonderful different.

I met little Bella eight months ago when she was four months old during one of my Christmas sessions in the valley last year. She was as cute as can be then, as she is now. I had such a good time shooting her for the second time. Mommy let me choose the locations and I'm super happy that we ended up doing an urban shoot. Here are some of my favorites -- enjoy!

Urban Kids

Our urban kids sessions are the most popular among our clients. There is so much color and the locations are so unique. It's become one of my personal favorites to shoot.

This morning, I had a mini-session with little GG for a quick turn-around order. She was such a doll to capture - just beautiful. And she really worked the camera the last few minutes of the shoot -- take a look at her little boot in the last image. You'd never guess she was only one! Enjoy!

Calling the Senior Class of 2009!

The new school year is about to begin and we are looking for five high school seniors to become our senior reps. Senior reps get a free urban photoshoot and their selection of two favorite images from the shoot for use in their school's yearbook -- these are great for senior pages! Senior reps will also be featured on our website. So if you're interested in becoming a senior rep, let us know!

Megan & Chris

A few weeks ago, Omar and I attended the wedding of our friends, Megan and Chris. Omar was one of the groomsmen, so I shot the wedding with our associate-in-training, Sally. The wedding was absolutely beautiful. And I have to admit that I got a little choked up when I saw Megan coming down the isle. She looked so beautiful! That part gets me every time. I know I'm going to be a mess when my daughter gets married. Good thing for water-proof mascara!

And after a long day of work, nothing beats a hug from the most handsome groomsman of all!

our Wedding Fair Booth

We wanted to thank everyone that stopped by our booth at the wedding fair yesterday. We met so many great couples and brides-to-be. It was a lot of fun for everyone.

the Wedding Fair

We wanted to invite our blog readers to stop by our booth at the Wedding Fair this Sunday, August 3rd. The fair will be located at the McAllen Convention Center from noon to 6PM. Okay, so on to the pictures! A few weekends ago, Omar and I shot the beautiful wedding of the very first bride to book us. I fell in love with the old world traditional appeal of the images we captured.
